Roedale chassis system
Il a l'air actif notre ami allemand :
"Many of you will have seen, and infact many have bought one of the versions of our Roedale Chassis System ( RCS) either for your Howa 1500 SA or Tikka T3.
Some may have noticed that we have placed the RCS out of stock for the time bieng.
the reason is that the supply of side pannels-buttpads and cheek pieces from AI is sporadic, patchy and slow.
We can't put these things together fast enough to keep up with orders and are always waiting on one component or another.
Rather than take customers money, have them wait and become unhappy waiting, we have put the inventory level at 0 in the webshop. As soon as complete chassis are on shelf again we will up the level and they will be purchasable.
It is possible to pre-order on a 1st come- 1st served basis and we are running a list.
This is purely a temporary measure until our injection molding tools/forms are ready and we can start our own production of side pannels etc.
Once these are ready we will be able to offer a faster delivery and will incorporate several more models in addition to those we currently have.
On the cards are:
Sako 75
Sako 85
Sako TRG
Mauser 98
Winchester 70
Barnard SM
and we are open to suggestions for others.
In addition we will also be offering several colours currently not available.
Magazines was an issue untill Accurate Mag got going in earnest, and we have also embarked on our own magazine production for the RCS and RMS systems. Hence we will have 2 outside suppliers of magazines as well as our own, which gives us, and more importantly customers plenty of ports of call for spare magazines. Our magazines are stainless steel and come pre modded for the Howa (slightly lower at the front to allow proper feed height) but work 100% with all the other AICS style mag systems on the market from whichever manufacturer.
The RCS was always designed to be a modular system and further development has continued. We will have at least 1 version on exhibition at the IWA 2009 that is fitted with a picatinny forend, AR15 pistol grip and some other bells and whistles,
This gives the end user the possibility to have an AI clone look one day and a totaly different looking rifle the next day and is a totaly new direction in the appearance of the Tikka T3 !!
I'll post pictures of the RCS's new alternative dress as soon as we have some.
Thanks for your support and understanding.
Best Regards
Pete

Re: Roedale chassis system
Hi Pete,
I have a Tikka T3 Tactical in 7mm08 that I have upgraded with your AICS magazine system and a Lumley steel recoil lug, even so the accuracy of the rifle leaves to be desired, I can get only 1.5 to 2 MOA at 200 meters (3/4 MOA to 1 MOA at 100m).
Do you garantee that the RCS 2 stock will greatly improve accuracy in the order of 0.5 MOA at 200m ?
I plan on buying the RCS 2 stock but first I wanted to be sure I won't throw 750 euros out of the window.
Best.

Quelqu'un a t-il des retours sur ce châssis ? Comparaison avec une ACIS AT, facilité d’installation etc ?
